Carpet Cleaning in Wall, TX
Wall sits about 10 miles southeast of San Angelo on US 87, surrounded by farmland. We clean carpet, rugs and upholstery for homes in town and out in the country around it, with hot water extraction and a written price before any work starts.
Who Lives Around Wall?
More people than the town sign suggests. The community itself is small, roughly 200 people by most estimates, but Wall ISD serves around 1,300 students from homes spread across southeastern Tom Green County. Many of the houses we’re asked about sit on acreage or along county roads rather than in town.

What Does Farm Country Do to Carpet?
Field dust is fine, and it travels. On a windy spring day, or when nearby fields are being worked, it drifts in around door frames and windows and settles into the carpet. After a rain, dirt roads and yards turn to mud that comes in on boots. Work clothes, feed dust and dogs that spend the day outside add to it.
The result is usually a gray path from the back door to the kitchen and entry carpet that feels gritty underfoot. That grit is the real problem: it sits at the base of the fibers and wears them down every time someone walks across. Hot water extraction rinses it out instead of pushing it deeper.
How Often Should a Rural Home Clean Its Carpet?
| Household | Suggested schedule |
|---|---|
| Two adults, no pets, mostly indoors | Every 12 to 18 months |
| Kids, or a dog that goes in and out | Every 6 to 12 months |
| Working farm or ranch household with several pets | Every 4 to 6 months, plus entry areas in between |
| Someone in the house has allergies | About every 6 months |
If your carpet is fairly new, check the warranty paperwork. Many carpet manufacturers expect professional hot water extraction every 12 to 18 months to keep the warranty valid.
Pet Odor in Older Farmhouses
Older homes sometimes come with smells that were there before you moved in. Pet urine that has soaked into the pad over the years won’t come out with a surface cleaning. We check with a UV light first and tell you honestly whether treatment will fix it, or whether a section of pad needs replacing. How pet urine and odor removal works.
What If My House Is on a Well?
Tell us when you book. Hard, mineral-heavy water can leave residue that makes carpet look dirty again sooner, so we finish with a thorough rinse that leaves nothing sticky behind. More on hard water and carpet.

How Much Does Carpet Cleaning Cost in Wall?
It’s priced the same way as in San Angelo: by the room or square foot, plus pet or stain treatment if you need it. Nationally in 2026, a single room up to 200 square feet usually runs about $40 to $180. If a trip charge applies, it’s on your written quote, never added afterward. See full pricing.
How Long Does Carpet Take to Dry?
Typically 6 to 24 hours after hot water extraction. West Texas air is dry most of the year, which helps. Running the AC or a ceiling fan speeds it up. Keep pets off until it’s dry, and walk on it in clean socks, not shoes.
A Little Wall History
The first settlers arrived in 1886, and the community went through a few names, including Lipan School and Murray’s Store. In 1906, storekeeper J. M. Wall got a post office approved in his store, and the town has carried his name ever since.

Is there a trip charge for Wall?
If one applies, it is on your written quote before work starts and never added at the end.
Can you get field dust out of carpet?
Most of it, yes. Fine dust settles at the base of the fibers, so it needs hot water extraction, not just vacuuming. Fibers already worn down by grit will not look new again, and we tell you that before we start.
Do you clean homes on acreage outside town?
Yes. Give us the address and any gate or road details when you book.
How long until I can use the room again?
Clean socks are fine right away. Wait for shoes, furniture and pets until it is dry, typically 6 to 24 hours.
